Tribute to David Gilmour  
Voice & Guitar of Pink Floyd

Eleven year old Hardy is the proud owner of an acoustic guitar when he watches Pink Floyds “Live at Pompei“. He is totally impressed, this is the kind of music he wants to make himself. But it would take until the year 2010 when he happens to meet three musicians with the same dream. This is the start of the Gilmour Project.

The four musicians from Berlin (guitar, bass, keyboard and drums) pay “Tribute to David Gilmour” who didn’t just create the most important Pink Floyd hits but also three very fantastic solo albums.

The bands play list combines pieces from these albums as well as the most important Pink Floyd hits in David Gilmour’s version.  They try to stay as close as possible to the original sound and give the music an authentic feel.

The Gilmour Project is suitable for different kinds of events. Experience though has shown that big auditoriums prove best for the wide and saturated sounds to come across, connect with the audience and get the people hooked. Nevertheless gigs in smaller clubs have proved no problem.
